There is a mostly-naked statue of a man pondering a cube behind her, and he has festive pumpkin nipple tassels for those who care, but the camera really only captures Miyabi's round, confused face and red eyes. And her ears. The tall fox ears take up most of the camera, actually.]

Greetings. Guardian Hoshimi Miyabi, reporting to Kaisou as instructed. I was told that a junior Guardian by the name of Jon would explain what has happened in my absence. I'm aware there was a recent, uh, restructuring, so we can skip that part.

Is this the new Black Order headquarters? It looks like a mall to me. There are children playing in the parking lot. Unless... maybe I took a wrong turn?

I also haven't been assigned a new superior. In that case, I won't be turning in a written report unless requested.

Good evening users of the Libra app. I am here tonight to tell you of the grand reopening of the Chateau De Minuit casino. Now under new management, aka Cifera, aka me.

[As she says this last part she gives a theatrical bow.]

Now I know you are surely asking yourself, “Cifera, why should I visit your casino in particular instead of a competitor?”. Well I’m glad you asked dear guest. Our venue is home to all sorts of games of chance and skill. Everything from poker, baccarat, Pai Gow, and even French Tarot tournaments.

[As she lists off the various games she pulls out the cards and tiles they are played with. Where she was keeping them is a mystery]

And in celebration of our reopening happening during the month of Thanksgiving, we will be holding a themed party the weekend after the holiday. Come by for all sorts of themed drinks and entertainment. We hope to see you at Chateau De Minuit, located on 1040 Sapphire Avenue in the entertainment district.

Alex and Jules both reminded me that I haven't done this yet so: two things! First, if you're an isekai or, uh, suddenly stuck with shit like tails or wings or something that fucks up your wardrobe, I'll make you a new outfit or two for free or just alter some of your existing stuff. I don't do denim, so you're on your own for jeans, and I don't do leather. Do know someone who can do denim, though, if you're desperate.

Second: so I can't cook for fewer than like, six. Alexandre is pretty much the same, I'm just worse about it. Anyone who wants to come over the Friday after Thanksgiving for Thanksgiving Round Two: Fuck Black Friday, just tell me your spice tolerance because I was raised by two women who look at spice warnings and laugh.

Hiiii~! ♪ [ An off-camera giggle. ] Oh, you're just so adorable, aren't you...?

Ahem--Καλημέρα (good morning) everyone! Should I introduce myself-- I should introduce myself. I'm Cyrene! I just brought this little cutie home for the first time... and she needs a name. A good name. And I'm... weirdly out of ideas, sooo... I'm asking for suggestions! I can't just call her Pink Chimera forever, after all. I'm open to anything, really, but I will not let anyone call her anything ugly or mean.

[ As she speaks, she reaches out a hand to ruffle the fur on top of the chimera's head. It responds with a thrilled coo, squeezing its eyes shut and fluttering its little wings. Cyrene can be heard babytalking to it in Greek for another few moments before the video ends. ]

Hello and thank you for using the Libra app.

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope everyone is having a spooktacular time this holiday!

First we'd like to thank everyone's involvement in saving our coworkers from the incident in El Nido. The survivors are well on their way to recovery, though will be getting extensive counseling. We also want to offer our condolences for all of you who suffered to do so. We are aware that a lot happened during those days, and we'd like to extend our offers of free counseling for any of those who wish to have it.

In addition, we have some good news! The seers department haven't picked up on anything omninous for this month, and we've been very through to look out for other red flags that might get overlooked! While we should always remain on guard this time of year, let's keep our fingers crossed that this is a thanksgiving that we'll all get to experience in relative peace! As much peace as Thanksgiving dinners can be, anyway- not that there's anything wrong with my thanksgiving dinner, of course!

Right, so, I have a favor to ask of you all. Viktor and I have been supplying a haunted house with plenty of scares for the month, and I asked my brother and a passer-by to test it out. They came away amused enough, so we figured that would be the end of it.

[A beat.]

Apparently our animatronics and special effects are, I quote, "too scary for our customers," which is a terribly ridiculous thing to say about a haunted house but. Anyone here willing to go through it so we know exactly how scary it actually is? I promise the realistic-looking draconic maw that welcomes you is little more than clockwork with cloth over it.

I don’t know why but for some reason ever since this cursed app showed up on my phone things that shouldn’t be possible or happening keep popping up. I get a package in the mail and I think it’s supplies I need for an experiment but no it’s this thing.

[She whips the webcam over and down, the oversized sleeves of her hoodie covering the camera briefly. When the camera is clear again it shows a ribombee in a tiny lab coat, sitting on her desk going to town on a pixy stick. The rest of the desk is littered with papers with formulas written on them and the remnants of a very large bag of assorted pixy sticks. The camera whips back up to Carolyns face.]

And as if the insect wearing clothes wasn’t enough there was also what I thought was a walking stick but the moment I touched it—

[The camera whips over again, this time in the other direction. As the camera refocuses it reveals a small teal wyvern perched on her shoulder wearing a tiny monocle.]

It turned into this. This goes against literally every law of nature. AND WHY DO ALL THE CREATURES SENT TO ME HAVE ACCESSORIES. I’m either in a coma or someone is pulling a prank on me. That’s got to be it.

[The camera goes to black as she keeps rambling to herself, the little wyvern nuzzling against her before the video ends.]

So the wind brought to me something interesting. Apparently, our dearest good boy, Lycaon, in his youth didn't know which mushrooms were actually edible and just... ate one. To find out. I'm certain you can connect the dots on what happened to our poor pup at the time~.

But the winds have wanted me to use this as an example of family secrets coming to light next month. Those secrets miiiiiight not be as harmless as finding out the hard way to not eat unidentified mushrooms. Considering the holiday next month... that feels about right.
